To my fellow Registered Yoga Teachers,

Join us April 17-19! The Jacksonville Yoga kula is honored to host Jenny Otto, E-RYT500. Jenny is known nationally for her in-depth understanding of anatomy & therapeutics. In addition to being Anusara Yoga® Certified & Para Yoga® Dedicated, she is also a Professional Structural Integrator certified through Kinesis Myofascial Integration® (Anatomy Trains®). To learn more, visit her website at www.bodybalanceyoga.com.

This is a great opportunity to study in-depth with Jenny and learn how to work therapeutically with our clients and ourselves. Her workshop “Teaching & Practicing Therapeutically” is suitable not only for yoga and fitness professionals, but also health professionals (Chiropractors, MD's, Podiatrists), Body Workers, and our students. Jenny has added a special segment Friday evening designed to help develop the “teacher’s eye” within each of us – “Breath, Touch & Connection”.

Join us in April for a new appreciation and understanding of our bodies! Jenny's sure to fill you up with new ways of moving, thinking, breathing, and being! The workshop will be held at Joyce Savitz’s Jacksonville Yoga studio in Jacksonville Beach www.jaxyoga.com. Feel welcome to share the great news with your staff, clients & friends!

And, we are excited to announce the formation of JAYA – Jacksonville Area Yoga Association! Similar to MAYA (Mid Atlantic Yoga Association) and SATYA (Savannah Area Yoga Association), we hope to unify our community, coordinate our offerings, and share our respect and love for the many benefits of our Yoga practice.

If JAYA sounds intriguing to you, please feel welcome to come to an organizational meeting on Saturday, April 18th from 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. The gathering will be hosted by Heather Hixon at Renaissance Healing Center 228 3rd Ave. N. Jacksonville Beach. RSVP to Heather at yogaheather@hotmail.com. If you cannot attend, but would like to participate with JAYA, please feel welcome to email me or Heather your contact information. You may email me at longlisa@me.com.

May we continue to serve well,

Lisa Long, RYT 500 & Anusara-Inspired®

Welcome To JAYA Jax!!

Hello Jacksonville Yoga Teachers!!!
This BLOG is where we can post upcomming workshops, and our websites. You can include this blog site address on your newsletters and or flyers to your students as well.
Hopefully we can create a wonderful network for yoga teachers and events. Perhaps we can avoid double booking our fabulous workshops on the same dates/times.
Instead I hope we can help one another by promoting eachother in the spirit of UNITY!

Our 1st official JAYA meeting is scheduled for April 18th at 5:30 pm to meet at Renaissance Healing Center in Jacksonville Beach.
I hope to see you all there! Please RSVP to yogaheather@hotmail.com
Namaste
