Hello Jacksonville Yoga Teachers!
I am very excited about gathering such a finominal group of people at our Renaissance Healing Center this Saturday - April 18th at 5:30pm
We will have Yogi Tea available and treats.
We will be sitting in a circle to introduce ourselves and announce any upcomming events (bring flyers if you can to hand out to the other teachers)
This meeting is about supporting eachother as well as making sure we are not scheduling our major yoga events on the same dates.
I have created this blog and will be able to add your studio as a link on the blog. Lisa and I are in the process of putting a website together which will then require a "small membership fee" to JAYA to be listed on the website.
I would like to plan a 2nd meeting date for June 20th due to the fact that many wanted to attend the JAYA meeting but could not make our 1st date.

ReplyDeleteNice meeting. As Kathy and I said during the meeting, this is a great idea. The concept of JAYA resonates with us as we are not connected to any particular tradition or style, we just love yoga and want to share what it has done in our lives. We feel the world needs more yoga. Perhaps JAYA can be another means of outreach to the community and an opportunity to share positive energy. Is was nice to see some familiar faces and meet new once. Let us know if we cna be of any assistance.
